Back in the U.S.

We got back to San Diego a few days ago after 4 months in Mexico. As suspected, everything seems to be moving alot faster here. I'm surprised how much I'm liking it so far. Not the noise/rat race/bs part of it, but the California vibe, my friends/family, and especially the wavehouse! If you're anywhere SD, you've got to check this thing out! Here's a link: http://www.wavehousesandiego.com/webcam It's bascially a manufactured wave with not having to paddle out, check the swell direction/tide, deal with crowds, etc. I got into it last winter when it was especially nice to go down at night since you can't really do many other sports at that time. I'm looking forward to improving as I can barely stand up, but I already bought a membership so my hopes are high. I took the last few days off of poker to pack up all of our stuff from Mex and make the move back to Cali. I'll probably start playing this Sunday and then I'll go defcon-style once the WCOOP starts.
